Who I am

Casey Websites is a sole-trader web design business based in Tandridge, Surrey, UK. Contact: casey@caseywebsites.com.

What I collect and why

Business contact details (business name, address, phone number, public business email, website address, Google rating), gathered from publicly available sources such as Google Maps and your own website, used to build a preview website and to contact you about it. The lawful basis is legitimate interest in offering a business service to businesses. You can opt out at any time using the link in any email or by emailing me.

Correspondence: emails you send me, including any photos or logos you attach, used to build and update your website.

Payments: handled by Stripe. I never see or store your card details. Stripe’s own privacy policy applies to the payment itself.

Preview links: preview sites record a simple click on the link in my email so I know it was opened. No advertising cookies are used.

Sharing

Your site is hosted on Vercel and its code stored on GitHub; both process data on my behalf. I do not sell or share your details with anyone else.

Retention

Preview sites for businesses that do not reply are deleted after 7 days. Contact details are kept only as long as needed to run the service or as required by law. Email me to have your details erased.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask what I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or erased, and object to processing. Email casey@caseywebsites.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
